Description d CLA 2004-08-05 18:09:33 EDT
1. Have files a.java and b.java in your workspace.
2. Open Java editor for each.
3. Drag a.java tab to border of edit area and drop so that you have two
java editors open side by side.
4. In Navigator select a.java and b.java and then select Compare With |
   Each Other from context menu.
5. Double click compare tab to maximize the compare view.
6. Now close the compare view by clicking on the close button on the view's
   tab.

BUG: The editor area will return to normal however it will appear that only
one of the two files is open. ( Only one edit view visible ).

Note that if you use ctrl+f6 you will see both files in the list of open files.

Problem occurs for any editor and seems to have nothing to do with Compare editor.
Moving to platorm/ui.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
