Description David Hickerson CLA 2004-08-05 16:50:12 EDT
The Find/Replace dialog automatically changes selection of the find box when
selected text is copied using 'control C'. This is undesirable behavior. It
makes it hard to find key words in a source file and transfer them to another
file. If it is the intention to be able to do this, then use 'control F' for this

Cannot reproduce with R3.0 on WinXp.
Tom, please test under Linux.
Comment 2 Tom Hofmann CLA 2004-08-06 06:14:52 EDT
cannot reproduce, but I am not quite sure about your steps:

- is the find dialog open when you copy?
- where do you copy from - editor or dialog?
- what selection changes?

Closing as reminde, please reopen with detailed steps as well as actual and
expected behavior.
