Env: ---- - SUSE SLES 9.0 Beta 5 - Red Hat RHEL 3.0 Problem description: -------------------- Button (Click to Complete) is not shown. It appears after resizing Cheat Sheets window or collapsing/expanding the step. This problem does not occur in Windows. How to reproduce: ----------------- 1.Select Help > Cheat Sheets > Other > Hello, World Application and click OK. 2.Click "Click to Begin" at "Introduction". 3.Click "Click to Perform" at "Open the Java Perspective". 4.Click "Click to Skip" at "Create a Java Project". 5.Click "Click to Skip" at "Create your HelloWorld class". 6."Add a System.out.println line in your main method" section opens. Expected: The "Click to Complete" button is shown. NG result: No button is shown.
Interest has been expressed in having this fixed for 3.0.1, but is this really major? Also, we did not see this during translation testing. Could we see a screen shot?
At first the button does not show up, but if you expand the step below it, it appears. I don't see this as a serious problem.
Based on past experience with differences between Windows and Linux based OSes, I think this is a forms UI refresh problem.
transfering to UI forms as per last comment in defect.
In RC1+, there are still occasional issues with the layout but not as severe to completely hide the button. Reducing severity and priority as a result.
Adam, this one should have been fixed by now. Please confirm.
Unable to reproduce. If there are outstanding problems with the layouts, we should track them with more specific bugs. Closing as WORKSFORME. Please reopen if the initial problem of hidden buttons reoccurs.
