Description Edoardo Comar CLA 2004-06-28 10:07:03 EDT
on 3.0 final, linux GTK, Sun Jdk 142_04,
Mandrake 10.0, 2.6.7 kernel, KDE 3.2.0, UK keyboard,

the default key CTRL-SHIFT-E to open the 'switch to editor' dialog does not work.
I get an underlined capital E appear in the current editor
If I repeatedly press the key combination, I get 5 underlined capital E's and
then on the 6th key combo the Underlined capital E's disappear and the dialog
opens. On ESC the dialog closes and reappears a 2nd time. subsequent ESC close
the dialog without further side effects.

Then the thing is reproducible again.
The workaround is to add another key combo to the action

Another workaround is to cut&paste the text "Ctrl+E" from somewhere, and
right-click paste it into the key sequence text field.
