(Eclipse 3.0 RC2) See the two attached screenshots: when I press Ctrl-E to display the editor list and then move the mouse pointer over some of the editors in bold, their names are truncated, although they are displayed fine otherwise.
Created attachment 12314 [details] Initial editor list when Ctrl-E is pressed
Created attachment 12316 [details] Editor list with an editor's name truncated during mouse-over
This is because of the way that the SWT widgets truncate the tesxt when the font changes. The size of the window is determined by the plain font and the largest item
But the font doesn't change: have a look at the screenshots I attached, only its background changes to indicate mouse-over. Also, from the screenshots it looks like the truncation happens way too early even if the calculation were done from the width of the text in the plain text font.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
