Description Hanna Farah CLA 2004-06-11 15:26:18 EDT
Add a Java exception breakpoint
Select it, go to its properties menu
Go to the filtering section
"Restrict to select location" description is the opposite of resulting
behaviour when checking and un-checking a location.
Comment 1 Darin Wright CLA 2004-06-11 15:41:11 EDT
I disagree. I just tried an example, and saw the excpected (doc'd) behavior.
Checked locations are inclusive, unchecked are exclusive. Please provide steps
to reproduce. I am using build I20040611-0010.
Comment 2 Michael Van Meekeren CLA 2004-06-11 16:20:24 EDT
I'm using 200406101711 and I also get these described results. has this
changed in the last day? are we looking in different places.

I uncheck an item and the comment says "Unchecked locations are exclusive (do
not stop in the specified location)" and I don't expect to stop... yet it
still does.
Comment 3 Darin Wright CLA 2004-06-11 16:32:54 EDT
Do you have a simple failing example? I'm seeing both cases work.
Comment 4 Darin Wright CLA 2004-06-17 12:17:40 EDT
I suspect this could be iterplay of "suspend on uncaught exceptions" and a
scoped exception breakpoint. If I filter a location, but have "suspend on
uncaught exceptions" on, I still suspend. If I turn off the preference,
execution does not suspend.
Comment 5 Darin Wright CLA 2004-06-17 12:24:22 EDT
Deferred. This is similar to bug 33052. The suspend on uncaught exception
preference is taking precedence.
Comment 6 Darin Wright CLA 2006-06-14 15:21:04 EDT
Closing
Comment 7 Denis Roy CLA 2009-08-30 02:25:06 EDT
As of now 'LATER' and 'REMIND' resolutions are no longer supported.
Please reopen this bug if it is still valid for you.
