I experimented with setting a tree label root node to bold:
The label was cut off. See screenshot.

Note that this code isn't yet released.

Car this looks the same as bug 57426, which is marked as fixed.  Something 
seems to have been missed?

Martin since this seems to be context-specific, can you provide a stand-alone 
snippet or example in eclipse that shows this problem?

Marking as a dup of bug 57426, which I have just reopened. Martin, can you try 
the SWT snippet in bug 57426 (either in comment number 3 of that bug or the 
slightly modified version in comment 9) and let me know what happens (please 
comment in 57426)? I tried it on 2 different WinXP machines, and one worked 
and one didn't.
