After upgrading to M9, using emacs keybindings, I've noticed that moving around
in the text window and when then screen changes viewport, the update of the line
numbers has a noticeable lag.  I'm also using the new UI screen widgets, and not
the "classic look".

This didn't happen with M7. (classic look).

Note: the editor is not affected by new look (except of possible side-effects)

Jon, is this in Java editor? How big is the file, how fast is your machine? Is
this on Windows XP? Is there anything special about the setup/file?

This is in the Java editor, the file is small (100-200 lines), P4 Centrino
1.5Mhz and yes Windows XP.

Nothing special about the files, or my setup that I know about.
