Description Tanya Wolff CLA 2004-04-23 13:58:32 EDT
Both the "Select Working Set" and "Search Page Selection" dialogs do not say
the Text under the Title when pressing Ins+B in Jaws. Click Choose working set
or Customize from any Search dialog to get to these dialogs.

The first dialog should read "Select Working Set:" and the second dialog should
read "Select from the pages shown in the dialog" after the title.

Ins+B should read current window (title and description) as in "New Java Class"
dialog.
Comment 1 Tod Creasey CLA 2004-04-26 10:08:13 EDT
JAWS generally has not been able to read labels in most dialogs for some time.
Moving to SWT as they are generally looking at JAWS issues
Comment 2 Carolyn MacLeod CLA 2004-05-04 17:08:01 EDT
JAWS does read the label when the dialog is opened, but there is a general
problem with INS+B. INS+B does not speak the MSAA names, even if giving focus
to the control does. INS+B should speak MSAA names if they are available. I
have sent this information to Frank, who is communicating with the Freedom
Scientific folks on our behalf.

CAR if this is a bug in JAWS and they have been informed, we should close it as WONFIX (ie. CANTFIX).
Comment 5 Carolyn MacLeod CLA 2011-03-21 14:50:22 EDT
I tried both of these dialogs again under JAWS 12, and INS+B now reads all of the controls, including the label text under the window title.
Closing bug as "Works For Me".
