Not sure this is a duplicate of that bug. I get only the entry mentioned above
in my log, but no IllegalArgumentExceptions follow.

No, this isn't a duplicate of #60114.
I'm logging the "target 'xxx' not found" message when processing contributions to the new content 
type attribute. Right now it is harmless since the new mecahnism has no clients yet.

I saw this too, when activating the sync view.  It had the negative side effect
of taking focus away and activating the Error Log view (although activation can
be turned off in this view).
