Description Gunnar Wagenknecht CLA 2004-04-18 03:28:35 EDT
In 3.0 the tasks view was split into a task and a problem view.

The split is pretty useless because tasks aren't shown text to
problems/warnings and problems aren't shown next to tasks. Instead I have to
manage two different views where one was suitable before.

How does this reduce UI clutter?

For additional information see bug 37974.
Comment 1 Gunnar Wagenknecht CLA 2004-04-18 03:29:11 EDT
This should not be in 3.0 final.
Comment 2 Tod Creasey CLA 2004-04-19 12:15:42 EDT
The response from most users about the split is positive. We have no plans to
change this.
Comment 3 Tod Creasey CLA 2004-04-19 12:16:03 EDT
Marking as WONTFIX
Comment 4 Randy Hudson CLA 2004-04-19 13:47:33 EDT
Tod, where is the evidence for your claim in comment 2.
Comment 5 John-Mason P. Shackelford CLA 2004-04-19 14:34:24 EDT
I'd prefer a unified view.

Resetting severity and priority to its initial values. Such a braking change
should not slip through 3.0. If it is in 3.0 final it's not possible to revert
it back. Currently we are able to submit patches to provide a better solution
for 3.0. (see bug 37974)
