Description Jeff McAffer CLA 2004-04-15 11:36:09 EDT
In i0413...

- open the Java Browsing perspective
- check out the org.eclipse.osgi project from CVS
- in the packages view for org.eclipse.osgi, choose the any of the following
packages
   - org.eclipse.osgi.framework
   - org.eclipse.osgi.framework.internal.core
   - org.eclipse.osgi.framework.internal.protocol
- pop up the context menu
- notice that the context menu has only a fraction of the entries that it
should.

All other packages have a seemingly appropriate set of contributions.

If you use the package explorer to navigate to the same packages, the
contributions appear to be ok.

Note also that the CVS decorator for the org.eclipse.osgi.framework.adaptor
package is quite unpredictable. At various times it shows up with changes
(leading '>' char) even when there are none and now that there are some, the
change marker is missing. The same package in the navigator and Package
Explorer is correctly decorated.

Jeff the CVS decorator issues are likely a totally different problem. Please
log a related Bug to Team
Comment 3 Jeff McAffer CLA 2004-04-16 09:25:08 EDT
they claim otherwise. Their internal structure seemed fine as the decorators
showed up correctly in the Package Explorer. It seems like the Packages view
is somehow messed up.

I'm happy to enter more bugs but they will just end up talking to you...

Is this still an issue in 3.2?
Comment 5 Denis Roy CLA 2009-08-30 02:09:31 EDT
As of now 'LATER' and 'REMIND' resolutions are no longer supported.
Please reopen this bug if it is still valid for you.
