"Alt+Click" looks like the operation for selecting multiple text.
keyboard short cut should be supported for accessibility.

"Alt+Click" is used to add multiple carets using mouse, so corrected the bug title. Not sure how we can add multiple carets using keyboard.

Adding Mickael any idea here.

This is a known enhancement, closing as duplicate.
