When im using eclipse 2021-09 and scroll using the bar on the right side the text in the editor doesnt move and if i scroll very slowly it moves accordingly but very laggy probably 1fps. If i scroll the bar a bit faster then the text doesnt move at all and its impossible to see where you are scrolling at. I had to download this new version because content assist was broken in the previous version and now the scrolling is broken in this one. Im sorry to rant but i wish there was even 1 usable version of this software that wasent full of bugs. Like how can this kind of issue even go through testing? Did they never use the scroll bar on the right. Also not only scrolling but the whole IDE seems very laggy in this 2021-09 version. The only version that works decently for me is 2020-06 but eclipse isnt even backwards compatible so i would have to re setup all of my projects...
Please provide details about your configuration - screen resolution, operating system version, in which editors scrolling is slow (specific or all), which Eclipse package, which Java version, any errors in the log etc. Ideally attach the output from Help / About / Installation information / Configuration.

I've got the same problem here. Using CDT Editor 10.4.1. Also tried updating to CDT 10.5 didn't help. Tried updating to Eclipse 4.22 M1, also didn't help. Also happens in PyDev 9.1. Does not happen in normal Eclipse text editor. Seems to be related with syntax highlighting. The editor lags/does not synchronize with the scroll bar when quickly scrolling. Mouse wheel scrolling works, also slow scrolling. But in bigger documents this is quite obvious and annoying. Running Windows 10 20H2 on a single FULL HD 1920x1080 screen on 60hz. Built in NVIDIA/Intel graphics. Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10885H CPU @ 2.40GHz 2.40 GHz Installed RAM 32,0 GB (31,8 GB usable)
Have to correct my monitor configuration: I have an external 1080p monitor attached to my laptop, so 2 Full HD screens on my system. I'm working on the external monitor, the laptop monitor just extends the desktop.
Hi, I'm experiencing the same issue, are there any known workarounds (e.g. Win10 settings which can be changed, modifying eclipse.ini to use certain java options)?
