See https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=566184#c8

Currently if I move a part within a stack the renderer is not updated. Rolf explained that the renderer does not react to a move event.

Rolf, are you still around? If, yes, could you push for patch from https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=566184#c8 for this as pull request on Github?

Hi Lars, I am around, but currently don't have time to spend on Eclipse.

The Gerrit I was referring to in the comment is this one: https://git.eclipse.org/r/c/platform/eclipse.platform.ui/+/141615
I never had a working change that considered the move event in the stack renderer. But that should be straight forward from the example (subscribeTopicUpdateChildren) in the Gerrit. I won't have any time soon to prepare something myself.
