When using side to side arrow keys to navigate projects, going over comparisons will cause the windows alert to blare. I have searched the internet for a solution but it does not seem that this is a common problem, so I believe it is a bug. although this problem can be solved with a simple mute I am wondering if there is another possible solution to this issue?

Hi, from your description I cannot deduce in which view you are having this problem. Is it in the Project Explorer or some other view? Can you describe how you open the view?
