This is a regression in 4.21 as I've been doing this for years and just tested with Oxygen.2 that is still use on a project.

Look at the attachment. If I arrow down from current position, cursor will move to line 764 at same column. Now if I arrow down again the cursor will move to column 1. Now on the next arrow down, previous version will move the cursor to the same previous column. Now it stays in column 1 all the way.

This makes it impossible to use proper indenting and moving through code to follow blocks.

If you type "cursor column" in search box, you get dozens of non related bugs but not this one. Sorry for making duplicate. Maybe consider giving summary higher weight in search?
