Created attachment 286979 [details] Screenshot of the dialog box that appears when trying to open the app. I have downloaded the Eclipse IDE and was able to open it earlier. Now, when I attempt to open the app I receive an error stating "you do not have permission to open the application 'eclipse' - Contact your computer or network administrator for assistance" (I have attached a screenshot) Could you please help me determine why I am receiving this dialog box/error? My initial assumption was that the app was being blocked by Gatekeeper, so I attempted to follow the instructions outlined in this article ( https://www.cnet.com/tech/computing/how-to-manage-os-x-gatekeeper-from-the-command-line/ ) to create a rule to create an exception for this app. This was unsuccessful. I also attempted to create an exception via the following terminal command: spctl --add /Path/To/Application.app but that did not work as well. I am attempting to open the software on a 2020 m1 MacBook Pro running macOS Big Sur 11.4. All help is greatly appreciated.

There is a thread on apple developer related to this (I don't own a mac so cannot say much more about it): https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/684509 Did you install or update any plugins? If so, which ones? Please let us know if that solved your issue.
