Synchronize view that doesn't show Close

Synchronize view opened from Team >> Synchronize has no close button and no Close operation in the right-click operation. If detached, cannot re-dock the detached view, the tab won't drag (no drag UI, no effect attempting to drop).

Only workaround found so far is to use minimize - then Close operation shows up when right-clicking the minimized icon for the Synchronize view.

Screenshot attached. Running eclipse 4.20 on macOS 10.15 Catalina. Sync operation is configured to open Synchronize view within perspective window where operation is performed (not a separate Synchronize perspective).

This seems to be happening in all of my workspaces upgraded from an older version of eclipse (4.11). Did *not* happen in a new workspace created fresh in 4.20.
