I would love if it was possible.

My use case is as follow.

When searching in eclipse you sometimes get in the search result some match preventing you to execute a search/replace.

The search view allows you to delete some records from the search result but does not allow you to execute a replace on the remaining records.

So executing a replace (or any other usefull function) on a refined search result would be a great addition for productivity.
