When working with eclipse some users have their own preferred arrangement of the views. They use the save as functionality to save the perspective as a separate perspective. But this is not portable so that user can have the same view configuration on another workspace. It would be nice if the perspective can be exported and being able to import into another workspace.

I would really wish if we can have shared perspectives at IDE configuration level if possible to avoid the import/export. If this is preferred I can change the summary of the bug to reflect it.
