Description Claod Mac CLA 2021-01-28 06:12:48 EST
Change the trigger for Content assist : .abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz
I want every letter to open the proposal so I can Pick any at anytime.
I try to use a template of mine... Try to use Tab to change the next variable in the template... Tab is focusing the proposal window...

So I try trigger the template again... Then instead of pressing tab I press enter, the type I write is cut ("strin" instead of "string") so I press CTRL+Z => While undoing the operation, an exception occurred
While undoing the operation, an exception occurred. Crash, and unable to do anything, I need to close the class in the editor itself.

Give the ability to disable this fkin tab focus on the proposal please, this focus feature is such a stupidity, and annoying. Thank you

Please attach error log.

Can you tell me where can I found the requested log please ? (windows 10)
By the way, the main problem is "to use tab to highlight the next template variable" but when the proposal is here... we cannot ! Tab is also the shortcut to focus the proposal window. Where Can we change this "tab to focus proposal" shortcut ? Please

Open the error log view and export to a file. Then attach the file.

Also do:

ctrl+3 -> "copy config to clipboard"-> paste in file ->attach

Also screenshots or a small movie would help/

I just did a refactor rename and the rename seems to have happened, but now the GUI is blocked by the "[Undo Failed] While undoing the operation, an exception occurred" message. Clicking Ok makes the popup go away only to immediately reappear. I have to kill Eclipse to continue (cannot exit; changes lost).

Using "Eclipse IDE for Java Developers - 2023-03".

I looked for the "Error log view" but couldn't find it.
