Workspace too long

The Eclipse Launcher allows specifying the workspace path when starting the Eclipse IDE.

If the preselected path is longer than the textbox control, and the user types some characters to append a suffix to the path (such as to create a new workspace _2) the characters input by the user are not visible, instead the beginning of the path is always shown.
