This is something that from time to time driving me crazy and force me to kill eclipse (it's too big for workspace search).

If I've run search from project/editor/outline and most of other views, scope remain untouched or is updated to current resource. Unfortunately this not working if I just re-run search:

1. Select dir in project explorer
2. cmd+h
3. Write something, make sure scope is correct, enter
4. Search result is focused
5. re-run cmd+h because you made mistake or just not found
6. Quick write and enter (scope is workspace now)
7. arghhh (sometimes kill eclipse)
 

So, in case when search haven't result, please keep search scope.
