In BIRT 4.4.2 I created several report designs. In that version the sum aggregation returns 0 when there is nothing to sum. In later versions the sum retuns null, so if I want to use my report designs in later versions, I have to create mapping for all cells. We are using BIRT in a web application, and I would really like to upgrade from 4.4.2 to the latest version, but because of this problem, it would be lot of work that I cannot afford.
