From the linked problem it seems that you cannot edit/save the eclipse.ini file? That is not a problem of caused by Eclipse, is the file in a location that you are allowed to edit it?

Please provide a concise description of your real/root problem that you are trying to solve. Also give references (links) to the guides you have tried.
