Attempt to install updates to Eclipse v. 2020-3 failed for reasons given in following message:
An error occurred while collecting items to be installed

Note: This bug appears out of nowhere, I have not installed anything for a very long time and have not made any changes to my Eclipse configuration (other than those - if any - made by Eclipse itself ... and I wouldn't know about these).

Did you install your Eclipse with the Eclipse Installer (Oomph) or installed a package? In case of the Eclipse Installer, how did you update? e.g. a popup appeared at start, check for updates menu item.

This could be an intermittent issue due to servers not being available. Have you restarted Eclipse and retried?
