Description Babak Farhang CLA 2020-06-06 22:44:53 EDT
After upgrading from Oxygen to 2020-03 the default editor font setting seems very blurry on MacOS. Honestly, the only font setting that doesn't hurt my eye and which I'm using as a workaround is the system font (which of course is not monospace).

This is a bug usability issue on MacOS IMO.

As a potential solution:
How would members of the community feel about shipping more editor fonts with Eclipse? Is this possible (as long as the font has the right license)?

Afterwards we could change the default editor fonts to one of these newly shipped fonts.

I use Eclipse on Mac (various version, even) daily and have never noticed blurry fonts. When I install a new Eclipse, it uses Menlo 12 as default font, and that looks perfectly fine to me.
