Description Julia Kurde CLA 2020-04-27 07:22:17 EDT
When there is a high contrast theme (black) enabled on my system (Windows), in the Eclipse preferences General > Appearance the High Contrast theme is selected automatically as the only choice.

As 'Color and Font theme' I can select 'Reduced Palette' where it says 'A theme that takes all of its values from the system settings.'

So I expect when going to the preference Java > Editor > Syntax Coloring and click Restore Defaults that all colors are set to the system default.

But that's not the case. The colors may be good for a black on white contrast but not for a white on black one and they are not the system defaults.

In an older version of Eclipse (4.4.1) this is working fine. The defaults are all taken from the system.
