Description Simon Sadedin CLA 2020-04-10 21:32:54 EDT
I can open preferences (Command+,) but tree that allows selection of the different preference pages is blank.

If I search for a specific page in the search field, the page will show on the right and works as normal.

I can't use Eclipse 2020-03 at all because of this.

Screenshot of preference page showing problem

This shows a screenshot of what I see when I open preferences.

All the options on the left to choose different preference pages are missing.

If I type a unique match into the search box however it will find the page and show it on the right.

Simon, can you let us know the OSX Version you are running? I'm using the latest macOS Catalina (10.15.4) and it works just fine for me but a colleague is seeing this issue in his 10 years old mac.

I'm seeing this exact issue on OS X El Capitan (10.11.6). This issue does not exist in the 2019.09 release of Eclipse.

I'm using OSX 10.11.6 (El Capitan). Admittedly old, but unfortunately stuck with that due to some other software dependencies for the time being. My Mac is about 4 years old so old yes, but a little better than 10 years!

I note that I did not have this issue with the December release, so it's something changed in the most recent build.

Let me know if there is anything useful I can provide in terms of testing or diagnostic info to sort it out.

Thanks for the followup Aaron!
