Shorter is better. Suggest to change: 

IDEApplication_versionMessage_olderWorkspace=The ''{0}'' workspace was written with an older version. \
Continue and update workspace which may make it incompatible with older versions? 

IDEApplication_versionMessage_olderWorkspace=Continue and update workspace ''{0}''? This workspace was written with an older version. \
Updating can make the workspace incompatible with older versions.
