Description Douglas Pollock CLA 2004-03-19 12:06:25 EST
See Bug 31731 and Bug 29436. I believe that some of the text commands should
be considered for support in dialogs.

Well, I agree. However, you should file concrete bugs against the specific
dialogs: we (text) have no control over e.g. a PDE dialogs or a Platform UI dialog.

With the new key bindings in dialogs work, this should work if you simply
provide a global handler and remap the key binding to work "in windows and
dialogs".

Look at the plugin.xml for Platform UI. Look at what we've done for cut,
copy, paste and select all.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and remove the stalebug whiteboard tag. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
