See screenshot the menu is too small, we assume that is a error in the standard Generic editor.

Please provide steps to reproduce. Is this a regression in 4.14?

I'm also getting the same error along with a message in the host console: 

*** BUG ***
In pixman_region32_init_rect: Invalid rectangle passed
Set a breakpoint on '_pixman_log_error' to debug
