Once we are using the e4 FilteredTree implementation in platform and are happy with the results, we should release it as API.

I think best would be to do this early 4.14.

What was actually the original reason to have "e4" version of a FilteredTree? Why should we have two of that kind at all?

To allow usage in e4 RCP.
