Description Mickael Istria CLA 2019-05-23 08:55:41 EDT
When on a change, it'd be nice to copy only a single line from a multi-line change. Current options only copy all the lines of the current changes.

I usually do that manually: select the line on one side, copy to clipboard, then paste it on the other side where I want it.

Also the only times I needed to do this was on multi-line conflicts, where the commit editor wouldn't have known where to insert the line anyway.

That's not to say that such an option might not make sense. Just that I personally haven't had that need (yet).

This comment is from a user who's used to SourceTree and who was failing at finding a good entry-point to achieve similar results as what he can do with SourceTree.
He told me SourceTree allows to stage either current hunk or current line, he missed this functionality.
