Attached is the stacktrace of the exception being thrown.

Several clients are reporting an issue when executing BIRT reports that the following exception is thrown: "org.eclipse.birt.report.engine.api.EngineException: There is an error in the report query loading, Can not retrieve data to generate the report".

However, if the user clicks the "run report" icon again, the report will render properly. 

The setup for this scenario is as follows:
There are 2 application servers; APP_SERVER, and BIRT_PROCESSING_SERVER. Both are connected to the same database. 
APP_SERVER is used to view the BIRT report, and BIRT_PROCESSING_SERVER is used to process any BIRT requests that come in via its port number. The APP_SERVER is properly configured to connect to BIRT_PROCESSING_SERVER's host name and port number in order to send and receive data.

Please escalate this issue, this is business critical.
Its impacting business, unable to continue with the reports.
Kindly look into this issue on priority.
