Bug 542777, provided enhancement in StyledText w.r.t. Mouse Navigation using scroll wheel in SWT.
This option is currently disabled by default.

If the enhancement done via SWT Bug 542777 is good enough, then we can also consider to have the mouse navigation behavior default enable, as we see in various Browsers(Mozilla/Chrome etc..)

Fast forward 3 years... Any plans to make middle button scrolling available to general public any time soon?
