Eclipse IDE GUI does not catch the screen scaling. See screen shots when startup and later when IDE is initialized

Looks like you are using KDE. Can you please verify the same with 4.9 M2 build? This problem was fixed in 4.9M2.

The M2 release did solve this issue I faced.
