Found it ! was moved to workspace->Build
May be to update the documentation ?
This option should be on by default.
how often you don't want to include new changes in a build ?
You can alway use Ctl+z to undo.

Which pages do you have in mind? A Gerrit change would be welcome.

Go to:
http://help.eclipse.org/neon/index.jsp

search for workspace
Click on the first topic: Workspace in the results pan on the left.
On the right you willl get:
Here is what the Workspace preferences page looks like:
Scroll down to see the workspace dialog image with Save automatically before build checkbox.
However, the dialog image in the documentation that you can see is not the actual existing dialog in eclipse version I am using (and uploaded it to this buf report).
So may be the dialog image in the documentation above should be updated to reflect what a user will see in the eclipse when using it.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
