I have two physical displays, the left one is is in vertical position, the right one in horizontal. ▋ ▅ I'd like to use the left one for source code, the right one for Eclipse's all other views, package explorer, console, etc. For me a vertical display is perfect for source code. I can drag and drop a source code view to the left. Fine. But if I double click a Java class in package explorer, it opens in the right monitor, and not in the left one. This behaviour is in Windows and Linux. Eclipse should make it possible that all source code editors open in the left monitor if you double click in project or package explorer. https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/m/1790049/#msg_1790049 https://stackoverflow.com/questions/26281285/eclipse-open-code-in-separate-window
