Description Alvin Wong CLA 2018-04-08 15:01:14 EDT
I have a 13-inch PC, a Dell XPS 13, which has a small keyboard with no numpad. I us the collapse and collapse all key binding quite often, so I had to change the key bindings for those shortcuts, considering my keyboard. But there appears to be some problems.

The key bindings i'm currently using for collapse is ctrl+shift+- and for collapse all is ctrl+\. The key bindings seem to work immediately following the change, but once I restart eclipse the key bindings stop working, regardless of them being present in the preference page.

Note that those commands are defined in two contexts ('When' column). Which ones do you change?

Does it work if you use a different/simpler key binging (e.g. just try with A)?

Does it work if you use your key bindings on a different command, e.g. 'Open Resource'.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
