I'd be surprised if this had anything to do with Scala nor JDT (where you reported this). => Moving to Platform/UI.

I'd expect this kind of issue more on GTK, but this happened on Windows 10?

The toggle arrows in the screenshot are miss-allied

The blue highlighted (and once in the orange box) are miss-aligned with the toggle arrow buttons.

This issue didn't not happen before executing gradle command.
In Dark theme, Rt.Click on project -> show in terminal -> typed "gradlew --refresh-dependencies" -> after the build finished it the carrot(in white) is miss-aligned with the words(when typing).

Was able to reproduce again.
