Description Jeff Levene CLA 2018-03-26 11:11:22 EDT
When I tear off a tab from the main Eclipse editor window to make a separate window (and put it in another monitor), the behavior is extremely unpredictable and undesired. Often, clicking back on the main (paned) window will cause the torn-off window to jump back into the area defined by the main window. After that, moving the main window moves the torn-off window, too, often.

This behavior happens whether the torn-off window has 1 tab, or 2 or 3. (I only got to 3 before deciding I really can't use it.)

I have seen this working properly in Windows 10.

That's not something handled at WTP's level.

Yeah, I wasn't sure at all which group it belonged with, so I figured since I only saw it in editors, I'd start there.
