It would be great to have an Fast View dock bar (the one where the fast view
icons go) at the botton of the screen too, not only one in the left.

like the Idea IDE does, their fast view works at the same place the view is docked.

if a view is docked at the botton, when you select fast view, it stays hidden at
the botton of the screen,
if it is docked at right it stays at right, if it is at left, it stays at left
and so on.

Sorry, but I don't agree that this is done. The (single) FastView bar can be docked at 4 borders and an orientation can be set for each FastView, I found no way to get *two* FastView bars in the same workbench window (i.e., one on the left and at the same time one on the right).

Marcus, multiple FVB's looks like something who's time has come. We've been discussing a variety of FVB solutions including (at minimum) the ability to have more than one.

We're also considering turning the 'regular' view stacks into FVB's when the editor is maximized.
