Compare local file with Git HEAD revision

In Eclipse PDT when I use the "Compare file with ..." function, and I can see the two sided compare editor view (which is an extremely useful), on the left side (in my current file version) I cannot use the same editor features than in normal editor view, such as:

- Deleting line with shortcut
- Moving selected lines with sortcuts
- Autoindent
- Comment/uncomment by shorcut
etc.

It would be nice to have them there as well.

Maybe this is not a PDT specific thing, I have not checked in different Perspective.
