With the fix for Bug 505835, we can now set the background color of a Button on Mac. This causes the focus ring to disappear for the buttons.

It is reproducible with ControlExample and other SWT examples and snippets.
I've been able to reproduce this only on my machine. It doesn't happen on 2 other machine's on which I've tested. My machine is upgraded version from OSX 10.10 to macOS 10.12, the other 2 machines are - mac 10.11 and a fresh 10.12 install. 

On my machine, this doesn't happen with the buttons in Eclipse, only with standalone SWT snippets.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.
