Description Morten Christensen CLA 2004-02-13 06:51:26 EST
When the Large Size (120 DPI) font is selected in windowsXP, no windows file
icons is used in Navigator, Import, etc.

In Windows:
Under "Display properties" > "Settings" > "Advanced" > "General",
Select "Large Size (120 DPI)".

Observe windows file icons (e.g. in import file selection)

I've switched to 120 DPI and I'm not seeing any problem. Can you try against
3.0 and see if you're still seeing it?
Comment 2 Morten Christensen CLA 2004-04-16 06:17:20 EDT
Yes! I have the same problem in 3.0.
Remember to restart your machine after chancing the font size - Windows, you
know :)
The problem is also seen in the Navigator.

Hi,
I have tried against Eclipse 3.0.2, and the problem still persists.
Are you still unable to reproduce it?

Regards, Morten

Kevin, would you be able to verify if this is an issue in 3.3?
Comment 5 Morten Christensen CLA 2007-06-28 06:07:13 EDT
Hi,
I have tried Eclipse 3.3 RC4, and the problem still persists in XP and Vista.

Regards, Morten

I always run at 120dpi and I've never seen this issue.
Comment 7 Morten Christensen CLA 2007-08-07 07:54:43 EDT
Hi Kevin,

I have just tried it with the released version 3.3 – still the same.

It is only a problem with the file icons associated to file-extensions by Windows, e.g. a word document icon.
File icons defined in Eclipse does not have this problem.
/Morten

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
