Description Raj Mandayam CLA 2004-02-10 21:16:43 EST
I have a workspace with many projects.

At times I can ctrl click or shift click and select many projects at a time.

it would be good if the key 'Select All' in the Edit menu were to select all the
projects in the current navigator if its in focus.

also what would be equally good is a 'Invert Selection' to select all the
projects but the ones that have been selected that are visible in the view.

I guess you might say what if I select resources which are of different types
say a selection consisting of projects, folders & files. But that case too has
already been addressed I cannot for example select 'Copy' from the menu if I
select a project and a file in another project, so going along those lines you
can disable 'Select All' & 'Invert Selection'

These two options are present in your Windows menu and would make it useful to
select multiple resources at once in an eclipse workspace.

When working with less than desirable VCM providers you quickly realize the need
for the select all function.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
