The build failed due to compilation error in org.eclipse.e4.tools.compat

The strange part is the file has been on Dec 21,2016.

This might be caused by https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=509234.

The bundle might need an update to Java 8 BREE.

The failing plug-in has been updated to BREE Java 8.

e4.tools (and Eclipse as a whole) has more plug-ins with a BREE below Java 8, so I leave this bug open to see if more updates are needed.
