Difference between 3.8 and 4.6

I am using the clipboard feature of eclipse platform in my application and we’re migrating to eclipse neon. We have defined our own customized clipboard on the top of clipboard feature of eclipse.
In the earlier version i.e. eclipse 3.8, the clipboard button displayed properly as below in the attachment.
But in the migrated version i.e. eclipse 4.6 the clipboard button display seems sandwiched as below below in the attachment.

The functionality though in both the cases seem fine and do not have any difference.
Any help in the above case would be appreciated.

Thanks and let me know in case you need more inputs from my end.

Swanand, first of all: thanks for reporting!

How did you enable the clipboard feature, did you have to install extra plug-ins?
How did you manage to show the clipboard icon to the bottom of the Eclipse IDE?

I am using ClipboardOwner to implement the functionality of clipboard in my application. To create the button and it's dialog I am extending Dialog and using Button. The clipboard button and it's popup dialog are binded to give the entire feature. The combined widget we are calling as clipboard. So What could be the possible reason for the clipboard button being compressed like in image attached with the issue ? Is this change due to my platform shift, where some of these libraries might have changed or this is some eclipse bug ?

Thanks

What is ClipboardOwner?

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
